Peter Marris
Pete is a former RAAF pilot with extensive experience on both helicopters and fixed wing. His RAAF experience includes:

- Basic training on the CT4A
- Advanced training on the Macchi MB326H
- Basic training on the UH-1B Iroquois helicopter
- Advanced training on the UH-1H Iroquois helicopter
- Helicopter flying tours at 9 Sqn, The Middle East, & 35 Sqn
- Flying Instructor Course (East Sale)
- Flying Instructor (Point Cook)
- Flying tour and Instructor at 32 Squadron, East Sale on HS748 aircraft
In 1994 Pete left the RAAF and moved back to his home town of Bundaberg, where he was co-owner/operator of the Spinnaker restaurant for 5 years. In 1998, he commenced work as the Base Manager/Senior Base Pilot for the Energex Rescue Helicopter (changed to AGL Action Rescue in March 2009) where he remained until December 2009. During his time as a rescue helicopter pilot, Pete accomplished the following:
- Command Bell 206 Jetranger and Longranger helicopters
- Command AS350 Squirrel (single engine) and AS355 Squirrel (multi-engine) helicopters
- Command single and multi engine Instrument Rating (helicopter)
- Command Kawasaki BK117 multi-engine helicopter
- Command Night Vision Goggles (helicopter)
Pete left the helicopter rescue service in December 2009 to concentrate on full time flying training. He still does casual helicopter work for AGL Action Rescue, Rotorlift in Hobart and Helicorp's operation in the Solomon Islands supporting the Australian Federal Police in the Regional Assistance Mission Solomon Islands (RAMSI).
Further accomplishments since December 2009 include:
- Command Night Vision Goggles (helicopter)
- Flight Instructor Grade 1 Upgrade
Along with Pete's casual commitments to other companies, Pete primarily conducts General Aviation Flying Training at the Bundaberg Aero Club under the Rockhampton Aero Club licence and has a passion for advanced flight training, including spinning and aerobatics. Reisha Marris
Reisha is the person responsible for keeping Pete focused on business with a little bit of fun thrown in. She specialises in administration and management and is fully trained as support crew to assist in passenger briefings, strapping in and debriefing.
David Rooke
David has recently joined the Xtreme Team and is a Grade 2 instructor originally from New Zealand. David will be working with us until May 2010 with further employment to be decided then. Please make David feel welcome......... |
